Part A
- Covers Hospitalization
- Premiums are based on your work history
- 2023 Annual deductible is $1600.00
- 2023 Hospital copays:
- Days 0-60 $0 coinsurance
- Days 61-90 $400.00 per day
- Days 91+ $800.00 for each day of your "Life time reserve" until you reach your maximum
Part B
- Cover outpatient care coverage
- Premiums are based on your income
- 2023 Standard premium $164.90
- 2023 Deductible is $226.00
Part C
Includes Coverage of both Medicare Part A and B aand RMMA well as additional benefits and incentives such as Vision, Dental and Hearing benefits
- Must be enrolled in Part A and Part B to enroll
- Part C can include drug coverage as well
Part D
Includes prescription drug coverage. Every company has a different formulary for which drugs are covered and at what level
- Catastrophic coverage starts at $4130
- Can be combined with Part A and B or with part C
IRMMA
(income related monthly adjustment amount)
- IRMMA can affect Part B and part D
- Premium surcharge based on your income
- 2023 IRMMA increases at $97,000 or 194,000 if filing jointly
